The ‘Sangh Geet’ album was launched by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat on Sunday in Nagpur. Bhagwat dedicated this collection of songs to the motherland, emphasizing that the songs represent dedication to the motherland and a life of devotion, stemming from the volunteers’ experiences. The album compiles various songs associated with the RSS. Shankar Mahadevan has sung the 25 songs included in the ‘Sangh Geet’ album, and he performed 10 of these during the ceremony. Bhagwat stated that the RSS has songs in almost all Indian languages, amounting to around 25,000 to 30,000 in total. The main theme of these songs is dedication, and it is frequently difficult to find the original composers.
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis were also present. Gadkari viewed the launch of Sangh Geet as a landmark event, adding that the songs would foster patriotism. Fadnavis said that each Sangh Geet song provides significant inspiration and teaches valuable lessons about living a fulfilling life.
