Indian anime fans can now watch “Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc,” a new cinematic adaptation of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s popular “Chainsaw Man” manga. The movie, originally released in Japan on September 19, 2025, and in select Asian countries on September 24, 2025, is available in India in Japanese and Hindi from September 26, 2025.
The film’s box office performance has not yet reached the levels achieved by “Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle.”
On its opening day, “Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc” brought in approximately Rs 0.5 crore at the box office. Day 2 saw a slight increase with earnings around Rs 0.74 crore, resulting in a total of approximately Rs 1.24 crore over the first two days.
The movie features Denji, who becomes ‘Chainsaw Man’ and works with Special Division 4 as a devil hunter. The story unfolds as Denji seeks shelter from the rain with Makima, the girl he likes, and meets Reze, who works at a café.
The voice cast includes Kikunosuke Toya as Denji, Shiori Izawa as Pochita, Tomori Kusunoki as Makima, Shogo Sakata as Aki, Fairouz Ai as Power, Karin Takahashi as Kobeni, Natsuki Hanae as Beam, Yuuya Uchida as The Violence Fiend, Maaya Uchida as Angel Devil, and Reina Ueda as Reze.
