Following the tragic stampede at the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) rally in Karur, where at least 39 people lost their lives and more than 50 were injured, TVK chief Thalapathy Vijay expressed his profound sorrow. On social media, Vijay offered his condolences to the bereaved families. He spoke of the overwhelming weight of grief he felt, describing his heart and mind as clouded by sorrow. He found it hard to express the pain he was experiencing. Vijay further revealed how thoughts of his supporters had moved him. He offered his deepest condolences to the families experiencing unimaginable pain, also declaring his commitment to provide the required assistance to those undergoing treatment. Financial aid was announced for the deceased and the injured.
