The VLF Mobster 135 scooter’s introduction to the Indian market has been met with considerable excitement. Within the first three days, the scooter has already exceeded 1,000 bookings, averaging around 21 per hour, highlighting its immediate appeal. The scooter is available at an introductory price of ₹1.30 lakh, which will be offered to the first 2,500 customers. Following the initial offering, the price will increase to ₹1.38 lakh, leaving about 1,500 units available at the initial price. The design, which was created by Italian designer Alessandro Tartarini, merges elements of both ADV and streetfighter motorcycles. Key design attributes include dual projector headlamps, streamlined panels, and a comprehensive LED lighting system for a premium look. The scooter is assembled locally in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, using CKD kits. The scooter’s design targets young riders, with sporty color options. Key features include a 5-inch TFT display, Bluetooth connectivity, keyless ignition, automatic start/stop, illuminated switchgear, and all-LED lighting. The scooter also has switchable dual-channel ABS and traction control, a first for the 125cc class. The 125cc single-cylinder engine provides 12 bhp of power and 11.7 Nm of torque, which makes it one of the most powerful scooters in its class. The telescopic front forks and dual gas-charged shock absorbers at the rear provide stability and a smooth riding experience. The VLF Mobster 135, with its blend of power, unique design, and advanced features, could redefine the scooter segment. Its initial price and strong booking numbers suggest a positive future in the Indian market.
