In the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), Dr. S. Jaishankar, India’s External Affairs Minister, spoke before a gathering of international leaders, addressing the critical issue of terrorism. He highlighted the brutality of the Pahalgam attack and emphasized that a neighboring country is the epicenter of terrorism. In response to the Pahalgam attack, India took action against terrorist hideouts.
Jaishankar stated that the prevention of terrorism must be a worldwide priority and must be uprooted. He added that India has suffered from terrorism for many years, primarily due to its neighboring country. He further noted that this neighboring country has long been recognized as a “global center of terrorism.”
