Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai presided over the Chhattisgarh Olympic Association’s annual general meeting held in Raipur, where he announced a significant financial incentive for athletes. A key decision was to provide ₹21 lakh to athletes representing Chhattisgarh at the Olympics. Sai pointed out that the state possesses significant sporting talent and the government is continuously striving to recognize and develop this talent. He mentioned the revival of the sports awards and the upcoming outstanding player recognition event. Discussions during the meeting also included the approval of the 2024-25 audit report, presentation of the 2025-26 annual budget, and the appointment of auditors for the same period.
