The political scene in Bihar is heating up with the upcoming assembly elections, as Tej Pratap Yadav, formerly of the RJD, has launched a new political party named ‘Jan Shakti Janata Dal’ on Friday. The Congress reacted to the development, asserting the fundamental right of every citizen to participate in elections.
Unveiling the election symbol for the new party, Tej Pratap Yadav highlighted the party’s commitment to the comprehensive development of Bihar, and their willingness for a long-term struggle to achieve it. He emphasized that the party’s aim is to establish a complete transformation in Bihar and create a new system. Tej Pratap shared the party’s poster on X, showcasing himself as the National President and displaying a blackboard as the election symbol. Sources close to the Election Commission, however, have not yet confirmed registration or symbol allocation for the party.
