In the forested regions of Chhattisgarh, law enforcement officials clashed with Naxal insurgents. The joint operation, led by DRG and BSF, was prompted by reports of prominent Naxal leaders in the area. The encounter took place within the Koyalibeda police station limits. Although the Naxals managed to evade capture, the security forces recovered a large amount of weaponry and materials. Currently, a search operation is underway to secure the area and ensure no further insurgent activity. The current clash comes after a successful operation on Monday at the Abujhmad-Maharashtra border. During this operation, the forces killed two members of the Central Committee, including the spokesperson, Vikalp (Ramchandra), and Kosa (Sudhakar Reddy).
