The railways are gearing up for the Durga Puja, Diwali, and Chhath festivals by introducing special train services. Anticipating a surge in travelers, the Ranchi Railway Division will operate 14 special trains on various routes. These trains are aimed at connecting passengers to important destinations in Bihar and eastern Uttar Pradesh. This is the first time the division has undertaken such an extensive special train operation. Safety and security of passengers are paramount, and all necessary arrangements are being made. The schedules for these special trains will be released soon, providing specific information on routes and timings. In addition to the special trains, existing regular train services will be augmented with extra coaches to accommodate the increased demand. A comprehensive strategy has been developed for managing the expected crowds and maintaining security at railway stations. Task forces will be deployed at major stations, supported by additional RPF and GRP personnel. Strict attention will be given to gate management and platform arrangements, with senior officials supervising the overall station management. Senior officials will also be on special duty at key stations to ensure a seamless travel experience for passengers and timely train operations.
