BJP MP Manoj Tiwari offered his insights on the Bihar assembly elections, condemning the governance under Lalu Prasad Yadav, which he described as ‘jungle raj.’ He also commented on actress Poonam Pandey and directed criticism towards Congress leader Sam Pitroda.
Manoj Tiwari expressed that the people of Bihar are content with the NDA government. He contrasted the situation in Bihar before 2005, which he characterized as ‘jungle raj,’ with the current state, emphasizing the development in infrastructure like highways, AIIMS, and airports.
He asserted that the people of Bihar will choose the NDA, citing their political awareness, with historical references to electoral processes in the Lichchavi republic. He believes that the people will not choose a government that harks back to the ‘jungle raj’ era.
Addressing Poonam Pandey’s involvement in Ramlila, Tiwari noted that if the Vishwa Hindu Parishad has raised any concerns, it needs consideration. He proposed that the Ramlila committee should address the matter, suggesting that discussions could find a resolution.
Additionally, Manoj Tiwari criticized Congress leader Sam Pitroda, stating that Pitroda’s words revealed the truth about the Congress. He implied that due to Pitroda’s reported feeling of familiarity with Pakistan, he should move to that country.
