The Lalu family in Bihar is witnessing growing tension. Following Tej Pratap Yadav’s actions, his daughter Rohini Acharya appears to be in a state of rebellion. After a video of Sanjay Yadav, a close aide of Tejashwi Yadav, went viral, Rohini targeted him. She has not only made her X account private but also unfollowed some close family members. Rohini follows 61 people on X, with only her sister Misa Bharti, a family member from the Patliputra parliamentary constituency, among them. Rohini does not follow any other members of the RJD or her family, leading to speculation that this is a sign of Rohini Acharya’s opposition to Tejashwi Yadav. The reason for Rohini’s unfollowing is the growing disagreements between her and her sister concerning Sanjay Yadav, a close associate of Tejashwi Yadav. Rohini Acharya expressed her displeasure by sharing two posts on the X media platform. The first post featured a picture of her father, Lalu, with the caption, “Those who risk their lives, fearlessness is in their blood.” She identified herself as a responsible daughter and sister. These posts, which were public until Saturday morning, disappeared when Rohini made her X account private, indicating the internal struggles within the party and family. Tej Pratap Yadav has also unfollowed several members of the family and the RJD, fueling reports of internal discord. Lalu Prasad Yadav had earlier removed Tej Pratap from the party for six years and separated him from the family. Tejashwi Yadav, Misa Bharti, and Rohini Acharya supported Lalu’s decision. Tej Pratap Yadav stated that the admirable work done by a woman is something that perhaps no daughter or mother could do. It is something to be admired by all women. Her contributions will always be discussed. The Sudarshan Chakra of Krishna will strike those who insult our sisters. Rohini Acharya’s actions have the potential to escalate the turmoil within the Lalu family and the RJD. The future of the situation and Rohini Acharya’s next moves are yet to be determined.
