Hyundai has launched the i20 Knight Edition in the Indian market. This all-black model adds a new layer of style to the premium hatchback. The i20 Knight Edition features a range of exterior enhancements, including black-themed alloy wheels, roof rails, skid plates, side sill garnish, outside mirrors, a rear spoiler, and a matte black Hyundai logo. Red brake calipers and sporty metal pedals further enhance the sporty appearance. Inside, the seats are upholstered in black, and brass inserts add a premium touch. The Knight Edition is available in the standard i20’s Sportz (O) and Asta (O) trims, with prices starting at ₹9.15 lakh (ex-showroom). The i20 N Line’s N8 and N10 variants also offer the Knight treatment, with prices starting at ₹11.43 lakh (ex-showroom). The car is powered by a 1.2-liter 4-cylinder petrol engine, generating 83 Hp and 115 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed manual or CVT transmission. The 1.2-liter petrol engine also includes an idle stop and go feature. Hyundai has discontinued the 1.0-liter petrol engine, which was available with a 7-speed DCT and 6-speed iMT. Alongside the Knight Edition, Hyundai is also introducing new features to the i20 and i20 N Line, including a roof-mounted spoiler and a dashcam, with features varying by trim.
