The Asia Cup 2025’s Super 4 stage will commence with a match between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Both teams qualified for the Super 4s from Group B. Sri Lanka secured the top position after winning all three of their group matches. Bangladesh qualified after victories against Hong Kong and Afghanistan. They are scheduled to play against each other again.
The match between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh is scheduled for September 20th at the Dubai International Stadium. The Super 4 round matches will start at 8 PM Indian Standard Time, the same time as the group stage matches. The toss will take place at 7:30 PM IST. The match will be available for live viewing on the Sony Sports Network. Live streaming will also be accessible on the SonyLIV app and website.
In their previous Asia Cup meeting, Bangladesh scored 139 runs, with only Jaker Ali, Shamim Hossain, and captain Liton Das reaching double figures. Sri Lanka comfortably chased down the target in 14.4 overs, boosted by Pathum Nissanka’s half-century and Kamil Mishara’s 46 runs. Following this match, Sri Lanka will play against Pakistan on September 23rd and India on September 26th. Bangladesh is scheduled to face India on September 24th and Pakistan on September 25th.
