Israel has integrated a new defense system, Iron Beam, into its arsenal. The system is designed to track and quickly eliminate incoming missiles. Iron Beam was developed jointly by Elbit Systems and Rafael Advanced Defence Systems. Successful tests have cleared the path for deployment later this year. This innovative system augments Israel’s existing air defense systems, which include Iron Dome, David’s Sling, and Arrow. These systems have collectively intercepted thousands of projectiles launched by Hamas in Gaza, Hezbollah in Lebanon, and the Houthis in Yemen.
