Education is the key to success, service is the basis of life: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai
Chief Minister Shri Sai participated in the Blood Donation Amritotsav 2.0 program
Raipur, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai today participated in the Blood Donation Amritotsav 2.0 program organized at the auditorium of Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University located in the capital Raipur. He said that education is essential to move forward in any field. Education is not just a means to obtain a degree or a job, but it is the basic foundation of success in every field of life.
On this occasion, the National Service Scheme State Cell, Higher Education Department and Pt. Service fortnight was launched by Ravishankar Shukla University. In this campaign, which will run from September 17 to October 2, various activities including blood donation will be organized in colleges across the state.
Chief Minister Shri Sai met the youth donating blood and gave them best wishes. He said that blood donation is not only a means of saving lives, but is also beneficial for the health of the blood donor. This is the greatest donation, which can be done again and again.
Addressing the students, the Chief Minister said that the government is continuously working in the field of education and the students should take full advantage of the available facilities. He said that Chhattisgarh is rich in many areas including minerals and forest wealth. The identity of ‘Chhattisgarhiya Sable Badhiya’ is all over the country. Obstacles like Naxalism are being eliminated by the courage and continuous operations of the security forces. Soon the Ganga of development will flow in Bastar and a developed Chhattisgarh will be built.
Higher Education Minister Shri Tankram Verma said that the government is committed to ensure a bright future for the youth. Approval has been given for recruitment to 700 posts in the Higher Education Department. He described NSS as a powerful idea that connects the society.
Skill Development Minister Guru Khushwant Saheb said that the spirit of service is inherent in Indian culture and blood donation is the greatest donation. The government’s goal is to provide education and employment to the youth while ensuring the overall development of their personality.
MP Shri Brijmohan Agarwal said that service is the essence of life. Service makes life successful through blood donation or education—through any medium.
Commissioner Higher Education Shri Santosh Dewangan, Vice Chancellor Dr. Satchidanand Shukla, State NSS Officer Dr. Neeta Bajpayee, Registrar Prof. Ambar Vyas along with a large number of NSS volunteer students were present in the program.
