Primebook has expanded its laptop lineup with the launch of the Primebook 2 Pro and Primebook 2 Max. These new models are priced under 20,000 rupees, providing a cost-effective option for consumers in the market for a new laptop. The devices are targeted towards students, freelancers, creative professionals, and coders. This launch aims to make AI-equipped laptops accessible to a wider audience.
The Primebook 2 Pro is available for 17,990 rupees, while the Primebook 2 Max is priced at 19,990 rupees. Customers can buy these laptops from the Primebook official website, Amazon, and Flipkart. Purchasing from the company’s website will also provide a 500 rupee discount. These new laptops are designed to compete with models like Acer Aspire 3, Lenovo Chromebook, ASUS Chromebook, and Lenovo IdeaPad 3.
Both laptops are powered by PrimeOS 3.0, which is built on Android 15, and have an octa-core MediaTek Helio G99 processor, supporting multitasking along with 8GB of RAM.
The Primebook 2 Pro comes with a 14.1-inch Full HD IPS anti-glare display and includes 128GB of UFS storage, offering a battery life of up to 14 hours. The Primebook 2 Max features a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS anti-glare display, 256GB of storage, and provides a battery life of approximately 12 hours.
Key features shared by both models include a 1440p webcam, a noise-canceling microphone, dual stereo speakers, fast charging, and both USB A and USB C ports. Storage can be expanded to 1TB via a microSD card. In addition to their affordability, these laptops include a backlit keyboard. Both laptops also feature built-in AI functionalities, such as an AI companion and AI-powered global search.
