A significant sex racket has been uncovered in Durg, Chhattisgarh, following a police operation at a local hotel. The raid at Hotel Isha in the Vaishali Nagar area resulted in the arrest of multiple individuals. Reports indicated the hotel was the center of illegal activities.
The investigation revealed that the hotel owner was allegedly involved in trafficking women from other states. He reportedly used WhatsApp to share pictures and details of the women, allowing customers to select and negotiate prices for sexual services. The raid, conducted on September 1st, led to the arrest of the hotel owner, manager, and several clients.
The main suspect, Nikhil Meshram (alias Nikku), has been arrested and remanded to judicial custody. Police also seized cash and several boxes of questionable items. The police are also questioning Mohammad Shoaib Khan, another individual arrested in the case.
