Following the success of ‘Hanuman’, Teja Sajja’s ‘Mirai’ has made a mark at the box office, amassing over Rs 50 crore in earnings. The film presents an action-packed narrative involving a warrior and the protection of sacred texts, captivating audiences. Early estimates indicate that the film collected Rs 6 crore on its fourth day, culminating in a total of Rs 50.60 crore. The cast includes Manchu Manoj, Ritika Nayak, and Shriya Saran. Teja Sajja mentioned that director Karthik Ghattamaneni offered him the lead role in ‘Mirai’ after the positive reception of ‘Hanuman’. The film concludes with a promise of a sequel, titled ‘Mirai: Jaithraya’, with a mid-credit scene featuring Rana Daggubati who is expected to play a villain in the sequel.
