Modi stated the BJP government is now working in tandem with the people of Assam to tackle the problem of infiltration. He also praised the Assam government’s Mission Basundhara for its work in providing land leases, and reaffirmed the BJP’s commitment to correct what he described as historical injustices against tribal societies.
