Sushila Karki, having assumed the role of interim Prime Minister in Nepal, is proceeding to form the interim government. In her address on Sunday, she highlighted the importance of the youth. It is believed that her cabinet will have a significant number of young leaders, with the swearing-in ceremony for the new government’s ministers planned for Monday. The key ministerial appointments for Karki’s interim government have been determined. As per sources within Sheetal Niwas (Presidential House), Om Prakash Aryal, Rameswor Khanal, and Kulman Ghising are anticipated to be sworn in. Karki took the oath as Nepal’s Prime Minister on September 12 and has committed to tackling corruption, saying that the previous government was removed from power because of corruption. She aims to meet the expectations of the youth. On Sunday, Karki said, “We will fulfill our responsibilities and transfer authority to the next parliament within six months.” The President of Nepal has announced that elections for a permanent government will take place on March 5th.
