A woman was shot by her husband, Arvind Parihar, in Gwalior on Friday. The incident occurred near Roop Singh Stadium. According to reports, multiple shots were fired at the victim, Nandini Parihar, who sustained critical injuries. When police officers attempted to intervene, the assailant brandished a weapon, leading to the use of tear gas to subdue and arrest him. Prior to the shooting, Nandini had filed complaints against Arvind. She reported being tricked into marriage, as he was already married, and recounted instances of physical violence, threats, and harassment, including sharing explicit photos and videos. Authorities are investigating whether the shooting is connected to the previous accusations.
