Police in Sheohar, Bihar, are investigating a case where a father is accused of raping his 17-year-old daughter and holding her captive. The accused had two wives and the victim is the daughter of his first wife. The victim reported the incident to the women’s police station. The girl’s statement reveals that she was held captive and raped for six days. She contacted Dial 112, which resulted in police intervention. A case has been registered against the father based on the girl’s account and medical evidence. The police are actively searching for the accused, who is currently at large.
