Deepak Saxena, a 2010 batch IAS officer, has been appointed as the Commissioner of Public Relations for the Madhya Pradesh government. Prior to this, he served as Collector and District Magistrate in Jabalpur. Saxena began his role by meeting with Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and subsequently taking charge at the Public Relations Directorate. He is noted for his commitment to accountability and his clean image. Saxena’s primary goal is to improve the public image of the Madhya Pradesh government by ensuring the effective communication of government initiatives to the public. He is also known for his strong stance against corruption, and has a track record of taking decisive action against irregularities.
