Indian cricketer Rinku Singh has shared a shocking childhood experience in which he was attacked by a monkey. Speaking on the Raj Shamani podcast, Singh described how he and his brothers frequently encountered threats from monkeys while growing up.
The monkey attack was a dangerous event that resulted in physical trauma and emotional pain. Singh detailed how the most severe bite happened during the rainy season. His family would go to the fields because their house didn’t have a washroom at the time.
Singh was walking with his brother and friend when the monkey attacked. The animal came from behind, pouncing on him and biting him repeatedly. The attack was so fierce that it tore away a significant amount of his flesh. Singh’s brother tried to help by throwing stones, but the monkey continued its assault.
Singh’s injuries were severe, with his blood flowing freely, and his bones exposed. After the attack, he was brought to a clinic for treatment. His family anxiously awaited news. Medical care was administered, and eventually, Singh recovered.
