Renault India is implementing price cuts across its vehicle range, giving customers the benefits of GST 2.0. The changes, which begin on September 22, 2025, affect the Kwid, Kiger, and Triber models. Renault is joining the list of companies, including Tata Motors, Mercedes-Benz, and Mahindra, who are passing on GST cuts to consumers. The Kwid now starts at Rs 4.30 lakh and goes up to Rs 5.90 lakh, with reductions from Rs 40,095 to Rs 54,995. The Kiger’s price starts from Rs 5.76 lakh, with a reduction of Rs 53,695 on the base model and discounts up to Rs 96,395 on the top-end variant. The top-spec Kiger now costs Rs 10.34 lakh (ex-showroom). The Triber’s base price is also set at Rs 5.76 lakh, with the base trim seeing a Rs 53,695 reduction. The top-spec Triber is now available at Rs 8.60 lakh, with discounts of up to Rs 80,195. Venkatram Mamillapalli, Managing Director of Renault India, mentioned that giving the full GST advantage highlights the company’s commitment, aiming to make vehicles more affordable and boost demand during the festive period. The updated Kiger and Triber models have new styling and features, and with the price cuts, they become even more accessible. The Kwid remains a popular choice for those looking for an entry-level, budget-friendly car in the Indian market.
