In preparation for the introduction of GST 2.0, Bajaj Auto, a leading global two-wheeler manufacturer, has declared price reductions for its vehicles across India. The price cuts will range from 20,000 to 24,000 rupees. These reduced prices will be applicable to both Bajaj and KTM models, since KTM is a subsidiary of Bajaj. The new prices will be available to customers from September 22, the same day the updated GST rates are put into effect nationally.
The government’s decision is intended to make it easier for many families and small businesses, who rely on reliable and affordable transportation, to buy vehicles. Rakesh Sharma, Executive Director of Bajaj Auto Limited, highlighted the government’s decision to lower GST on two- and three-wheelers as a courageous move that will increase demand and strengthen the industry. Further price reductions are expected during the upcoming festive season.
