The NSTFDC and Coal India are collaborating on a major project to improve the lives of tribal children by establishing 76 Eklavya Model Residential Schools. This strategic alliance will focus on providing quality education, healthcare, and holistic development opportunities to tribal communities. The initiative was launched in the presence of Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram and Coal and Mines Minister G. Kishan Reddy.
Coal India’s contribution includes a CSR-funded project to equip schools with essential resources, including computers, UPS units, and tablets. They will also provide sanitary pad vending machines, incinerators, and career counseling programs. The project aims to strengthen STEM education, improve sanitation, and provide career guidance to approximately 30,000 tribal students.
