Following the GST reduction on automobiles, Skoda has announced price cuts of up to ₹3.3 lakh. The decrease in car prices is due to GST 2.0. Numerous companies, including Tata, Hyundai, Mahindra, and Audi, have already disclosed their new pricing, which will take effect on September 22. The new GST will tax small cars at 18%, while large vehicles will now have a flat 40% tax, down from the previous 45-50% rate, including cess.
Skoda India revealed that it would fully extend this benefit to customers, providing price reductions of up to ₹3.3 lakh. Moreover, the company is also offering festive discounts up to ₹2.5 lakh for bookings made prior to September 21. The starting price of the Skoda Kodiaq is currently ₹46.89 lakh (ex-showroom). The car will now be more affordable, with savings up to ₹3.3 lakh. Nonetheless, the festive offer is only available for those who reserve their cars before September 21.
