Following years of research, Russia’s FMBA has confirmed that its cancer vaccine is ready for use, pending official approval. The vaccine has demonstrated effectiveness against colorectal cancer, with trials showing a significant decrease in tumor size (60% to 80%) and improved survival. The findings were presented by Veronika Skvortsova at the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF). The FMBA is also developing vaccines for glioblastoma and melanoma, including ocular melanoma, with advanced development in progress. Cancer vaccines are already available for some types of prostate and bladder cancers, with ongoing research for more.
