Boney Kapoor is in the midst of preparations for several major film projects. He is currently working on ‘No Entry Mein Entry,’ the sequel to the comedy ‘No Entry.’ In addition, Kapoor has shared details about several upcoming films, including projects featuring his children and a film with a prominent actress.
In a recent interview, Boney Kapoor detailed his upcoming projects, revealing plans for six films. This includes four Hindi and two Tamil films.
Beyond ‘No Entry Mein Entry,’ Kapoor’s upcoming film slate includes projects with Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, and Shraddha Kapoor. Shraddha Kapoor starred in ‘Stree 2,’ which grossed over 800 crore. Additionally, Kapoor has scripts ready for production.
Kapoor mentioned that he cannot start multiple films at the same time. He emphasized that he wishes his children to be content in their work, ensuring that it is not solely because of family. He also shared an instance with Anil Kapoor, who was initially unwilling to work in ‘Bewafaa’ and ‘Judaai’ but was later convinced.
Kapoor also discussed his investment in acquiring remake rights, having spent 30-35 crore rupees since the beginning of his career. He stated that the most expensive remake rights were for a film that has not yet been produced, costing him 3.5 crore rupees. The Hindi rights were given to Luv Ranjan, while Boney Kapoor holds the all-India rights.
In 2024, Kapoor had announced his plans to produce 4-5 Hindi films and 2 Tamil, 1 Telugu, and 1 Kannada film in the next two years. He also expressed his interest in producing Punjabi, Kannada, and Bhojpuri films.
