An unusual and concerning incident has occurred at a government school in the Durg district of Chhattisgarh. Reports indicate that an unknown group performed a tantric ritual at the Borsi school, which included the sacrifice of a koel.
The unsettling event was discovered on the morning of September 5th. Teachers and students found the disturbing evidence in front of the staff room door. The scene included a bloodied bird, lemons, vermillion, and a rangoli design. The sight frightened the staff and students. School officials subsequently contacted a local ‘baiga’ for assistance, who then performed a puja with lemons and agarbatti (incense).
Police at the Padmanabhpur police station have received a complaint and initiated an investigation. The police are reviewing CCTV footage from the Higher Secondary School to identify those responsible. The identity of the tantric and those who performed the ritual remains a mystery as the investigation continues.
