Chief Minister Mohan Yadav of Madhya Pradesh attended the TV9 Bharatvarsh Satta Sammelan in Bhopal, where he shared memories of his childhood. When asked about his experiences at his father’s tea, jalebi, and poha shop in Ujjain’s tobacco market, he replied that he is still known as ‘chaiwala’ and ‘panwala’ by the people, as he used to run the shop there. He also pursued his studies and contested elections from the same location.
He stated that his father initially turned towards business. Discussing education, he said that basic education is usually completed up to the 10th grade. After that, subject specialization begins, and those who want to start a business can select their direction after the 10th grade. His father had told him after 11th grade that he could study as much as he wanted, but he opened a shop for him.
CM Yadav mentioned that he became involved in the shop after his father opened it. He highlighted that he makes excellent tea and poha and invited anyone to visit and taste his preparations, promising a pleasant experience. He also acknowledged that he could be addressed as a tea seller or a cow rearer, emphasizing these are his roots.
