Lanzante, a British supercar manufacturer, has unveiled its first hypercar, the 95-59, during the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, featuring a Lord Ganesha-inspired logo, which has garnered widespread attention online. The logo, incorporating the image of Lord Ganesha, a revered figure in Hinduism as the god of wisdom, prosperity, and new beginnings, has been widely praised. The design choice is influenced by George Harrison of the Beatles, who was deeply influenced by Indian spirituality and saw Lord Ganesha as a symbol of good fortune and an obstacle remover.
This hypercar marks Lanzante’s debut in the hypercar market. The 95-59, a three-seater design with the driver positioned centrally, reflects Lanzante’s 30 years of automotive experience. The vehicle, designed by Paul Howse, is engineered to offer an immersive and engaging experience. It has been designed to offer practicality with luggage space and extended cruising range. The online reaction has been enthusiastic with comments like “A supercar brand just did the unthinkable… #Lanzante has chosen Bhagwan Ganesh as its logo.” and “Ganpati Bappa Mourya”. One user stated: “Lazante, a British car company adopts ‘Shri Ganesh’ as logo. Post dollar world started, bharatiya symbols will get more mileage.”
