The government has released the 19th installment of the Mahtari Vandan Yojana. The initiative, led by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, saw ₹647.13 crore transferred to 70 lakh women in Raigarh. Women can check their status on the beneficiary list using their beneficiary code or linked mobile number. Common reasons for not receiving the payment include inactive Aadhaar cards, the absence of Aadhaar mapping, or closed bank accounts. The scheme’s objective is to improve the economic independence, health, and nutritional status of women in the state by providing monthly financial aid of ₹1000 to eligible married women.
