Following the success of the Baaghi franchise, Baaghi 4 has been released in cinemas. The film, which stars Tiger Shroff and Sanjay Dutt, has just premiered. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Kannada director A. Harsha, Baaghi 4 is anticipated to be the most violent film in the series. The trailer’s blood-soaked action sequences were well-received, with Tiger Shroff’s performance drawing particular praise. The film also promises an intense face-off between Tiger and Sanjay Dutt. Sanjay Dutt provided some insights into the film.
Alongside Tiger and Sanjay, the film features Sonam Bajwa and Harnaaz Sandhu in significant roles. The film is framed as an action-packed thriller with a romantic subplot. When Sanjay Dutt was asked what he enjoyed the most about the film, he discussed his character and his overall feelings about the movie.
Sanjay Dutt found echoes of ‘Vaastav’ within ‘Baaghi 4’. Sanjay Dutt stated, “My character in Baaghi 4 is very intense and brutal, yet you will experience empathy for him when you leave the theater. When I first read the script, it gave me a feeling I haven’t had since ‘Vaastav,’ it’s been a long time since I felt that way.” He noted that he and Tiger Shroff invested a lot of effort in their preparations for their roles.
He explained, “For this role, I worked very hard on my physical preparation, I gained weight, underwent rigorous training, and put in considerable effort.” Sanjay Dutt noted that the energetic atmosphere on set made him feel like a newcomer. He further commented, “Honestly, Baaghi 4 made me feel like a new actor on set once more. Working with Sajid Nadiadwala always makes me feel like I’m returning home.”
The action star expressed his hopes for Baaghi 4, saying, “Baaghi 4 is going to be special for all of us. I hope the audience enjoys this film.” Sanjay’s film, Vaastav, was released in 1999. In that film, he played the role of a gangster. If Sanjay Dutt experiences the same feeling from Baaghi 4 as he did from Vaastav, this will be exciting for fans, as his performance in that role is beloved.
