Department officials reported that currently, 04 major projects, 357 minor projects, and 300 anicuts are underway, totaling 661 ongoing works. In addition, 1036 renovation projects are in progress. This represents a total of 1697 ongoing projects, with an estimated expenditure of approximately ₹8966 crore. Present at the meeting were Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Subodh Kumar Singh, Secretary to the Chief Minister Rahul Bhagat, Joint Secretary to the Chief Minister Ravi Mittal, Secretary of the Water Resources Department Rajesh Sukumar Toppo, Chief Engineer Indrajit Uike, and other officials from the Water Resources Department, including the Chief Engineers of the Bastar, Sarguja, Bilaspur, Raipur, and Durg divisions.
