Fifty trucks distributing food, including ‘bhakri thecha,’ are present, each with provisions for 1,000 people, catering to both Maratha protesters and ordinary Mumbaikars. Protesters claim they are receiving bhakri food daily from their districts and villages in trucks and distributing it. Maratha protesters are also cleaning up the litter on the streets. Mumbai Police removed all vehicles from Dadabhai Naoroji Road in front of CST railway station overnight, leading to the clearing of traffic on DN Road from JJ Flyover to CST and Churchgate, with vehicular movement resuming on both sides. A large number of CRPF personnel are deployed on DN Road. Meanwhile, Hanumant Ghayatilak from Barshi tehsil in Solapur district was seen attempting to persuade the Maratha protesters to clear the vehicles from the road.
