The conference, spanning three days from September 2 to 4, aims to foster a durable and robust semiconductor industry. In his address, PM Modi made a humorous comment. He shared the view that the world trusts and believes in India and is ready to collaborate on semiconductor development. He highlighted the substantial investment of over Rs 1.5 lakh crore in ten semiconductor projects, reflecting a global belief in India’s potential. The establishment of the National Single Window System was discussed as a means of streamlining approvals for investors. PM Modi expressed that India is ready to invite all investors and looks forward to the day that ‘Designed in India, Made in India, Trusted by the World’ becomes a global reality. He also emphasized India’s progress beyond the backend to become a full-stack semiconductor nation and expressed his confidence that India’s technological advancements will drive global transformation.
