In August 2025, Bajaj Auto recorded an increase in total sales, reaching 4,17,616 units. This represents a growth of approximately 5% compared to the 3,97,804 units sold in August 2024 and a rise from the 3,66,000 units sold in July 2025.
Despite the overall sales increase, the domestic market experienced a downturn. Domestic sales for Bajaj in August 2025 were 2,32,398 units, an 8% decrease compared to 2,53,827 units in August 2024. The two-wheeler segment showed a more significant decline, with domestic sales falling by 12% to 1,84,109 units.
Exports emerged as a key driver of sales growth. In August 2025, Bajaj Auto exported 1,85,218 units, marking a 29% increase compared to the 1,43,977 units exported the previous year. The two-wheeler export segment performed exceptionally well, growing by 25% to 1,57,778 units.
The commercial vehicle segment provided strong support for the company in August 2025. Domestic sales increased by 7% to 48,289 units. Exports in this segment performed even better, increasing by 58% to 27,440 units.
This resulted in a 21% rise in total CV segment sales, totaling 75,729 units. August 2025 highlights the trend where global demand is driving growth for Bajaj Auto despite the challenges in the domestic market.
From April to August 2025, Bajaj Auto sold 18,94,853 units, which is over 2% more than the 18,54,029 units sold during the same period last year. While domestic sales decreased by 9% to 10,50,349 units, a 21% increase in exports helped to mitigate the decrease.
