The ‘Voter Rights March,’ which started from Sasaram on August 17, is concluding today in Patna with a march led by Rahul Gandhi, Tejashwi Yadav, and other leaders of the Mahagathbandhan. The march is a significant event in the lead-up to the assembly elections. It began at the Mahatma Gandhi statue in Gandhi Maidan and is expected to conclude at the Baba Saheb Ambedkar statue.
During the march, the leaders have voiced strong criticism against the BJP, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and the Election Commission. The march has passed through more than 110 assembly constituencies, covering over 1300 kilometers across 25 districts, including Rohtas, Aurangabad, Gaya, Nawada, Sheikhpura, Nalanda, Lakhisarai, Munger, Katihar, Purnia, Supaul, Madhubani, Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur, Sitamarhi, East Champaran, West Champaran, Gopalganj, Siwan, Saran, and Bhojpur.
The march has garnered massive support from the people of Bihar, according to Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal.
