The Marathi entertainment industry is saddened by the news of Priya Marathe’s death. The actress, known for her work in ‘Pavitra Rishta,’ died at the age of 38. The news has been met with great sadness.
It is reported that she was struggling with cancer and she passed away early on Sunday morning. Her fans and friends have been reminiscing about her. Priya died in her home in Mira Road, Mumbai.
She had previously dealt with cancer and recovered. Unfortunately, the disease returned, and her body did not respond to the treatment. She passed away on August 31st. She was married to actor Shantanu Moghe in 2012. Shantanu is well-known for playing Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the show ‘Swarajyarakshak Sambhaji’.
Priya had also withdrawn from the TV series ‘Tujhe Mere Geet Gate’ in recent months due to her health.
