In Nalanda, Bihar, a recent shooting has claimed the life of an 18-year-old. The incident occurred in the Sarmera police station area. The attack took place at a turn in Chuharchak village, on SH-78. Following the shooting, the attackers escaped.
The Sarmera police are investigating the murder. The body was taken to Bihar Sharif Sadar Hospital for a post-mortem. The deceased has been identified as Shishupal Kumar alias Karu, the son of Brij Yadav from Chuharchak village. Local residents believe the murder might be a result of a personal dispute or ongoing feud.
Authorities are also investigating a possible connection to the murder of Kishori Yadav in Chuharchak village, which happened on the nights of July 12th and 13th. Shishupal Kumar’s name came up in that case. Officials suspect that the recent shooting might be an act of revenge. The shooting took place while the victim and his father were working in their fields.
Sadar DSP Nurul Haq confirmed the event. He said that a young man was shot dead at a turn in Chuharchak village. Police are investigating all leads and are working to apprehend the criminals.
