An alarming case has surfaced in the Lohardaga district of Jharkhand. A husband murdered his wife and subsequently buried her body inside a room within their home. He continued to sleep in the same room where the body was concealed. The crime was brought to light when a foul stench began to spread from the house. The neighbors, concerned about the situation, notified the local police. During interrogation, the accused husband admitted to the murder.
Raghunath Uraon, from Bhitada village in the Bhandara police station area of Lohardaga, murdered his wife, Phoolo Uraon. He buried her body inside a room in their house and continued sleeping in that room. The matter came to light when a foul smell emanated from the house, prompting the local residents to inform the police. Upon arriving at the scene, the police took Raghunath Uraon into custody and questioned him. He confessed to strangling his wife, Phoolo Uraon, and burying her body inside the house.
