The incident happened in Muttur on Friday, August 29th, between 5:45 PM and 6:00 PM, during the procession organized by the Friends Yuva Group. The blast involved a box of fireworks on a lifting vehicle. Police are investigating the cause of the explosion, considering potential factors such as heat from the vehicle’s silencer.
