The Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Hemant Soren, attended the ‘Sanskar Bhoj,’ a memorial feast, for the late Ramdas Soren, the former Minister of School Education and Literacy. The event was held at Soren’s residence in Ghodabandha, Jamshedpur. The Chief Minister was accompanied by his wife, MLA Kalpana Soren. He offered floral tributes to a photograph of the deceased and extended his sincere condolences to the grieving family. He prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace and for the family to find solace. Hemant Soren and MLA Kalpana Soren met with Surajmani Soren, wife of the late Ramdas Soren, as well as her son, Somesh Chandra Soren, and other family members, offering them words of comfort and support.
During a media interaction, Chief Minister Hemant Soren mentioned that they had gathered at the residence of Ramdas Soren, highlighting the close succession of his death with that of Guruji, and recognizing the irreplaceable nature of their passing. He observed that numerous individuals, including relatives and well-wishers, had come from various parts of the state to pay their respects to Ramdas Soren and concluded by offering his own respects.
