Reliance is preparing to significantly enhance the JioHotstar app with a series of AI-powered features. These upgrades encompass a voice-enabled assistant, real-time dubbing, and multi-angle viewing, aiming to transform the way users watch their favorite shows, movies, and live sports.
Introducing Riya, an AI-powered voice assistant that makes finding content easier. The assistant comprehends natural language, allowing users to swiftly search for specific episodes, seasons, or moments within the vast library of content.
Voice Print, a real-time voice cloning service, will also be introduced. This feature utilizes AI for lip-syncing and voice replication, enabling content to be dubbed into local languages while preserving the original actor’s voice and expressions.
Sports fans will benefit from JioLenZ, which enables multi-angle viewing, and MaxView 3.0, which offers live scorecards, instant highlights, multi-camera angles, and commentary in multiple languages, designed for comfortable phone viewing.
While an official rollout date hasn’t been announced, if these features deliver as promised, JioHotstar is expected to become a leader in immersive sports and entertainment viewing.
