TVS has launched the Orbiter, an all-new EV positioned below the iQube. During the launch event, the company showcased the Orbiter’s design, emphasizing its innovative features and range. The scooter comes with an IP67-certified traction motor and battery. The Orbiter is distinct, showcasing a unique design that emphasizes comfort and rider experience. The Orbiter’s design features a flat floor and an extended seat. The scooter is offered in six distinct color options including: Neon Sunburst, Stratos Blue, Lunar Grey, Stellar Silver, Cosmic Titanium, and Martian Copper. The scooter features a high-mounted headlamp cluster, and a DRL integrated into the front apron. It comes with an 845 mm flat seat designed to provide a comfortable riding position, enhancing comfort. It offers 169 mm of ground clearance and is fitted with 14-inch wheels. Practicality is enhanced with 34 liters of under-seat storage and 290 mm of usable space on the flat footboard. The Orbiter is the first scooter in its segment to incorporate cruise control and is equipped with safety features. It also includes a USB charging port and automated hill assist. The Orbiter offers a range of approximately 158 km on a full charge, providing significant usability. The scooter also has a connected cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, offering features like live location tracking, anti-theft alerts, updates on nearby charging stations, and vehicle health monitoring. A motor cut-off safety system is incorporated to prevent accidental acceleration. The 158 km range is supported by a 3.1 kWh battery pack. The Orbiter offers a more affordable option than the iQube and a 94 km range is available with a 2.2 kWh battery pack. The Orbiter is priced at ₹99,000 (ex-showroom, Bangalore) and is available for booking via TVS’s official website.
