Patna is experiencing unrest following the murder of a 10-year-old girl. The tragic incident has caused outrage and anger among the victim’s family and the local community. On Thursday, villagers expressed their grief and anger by setting fires and blocking the Danapur-Maner main road at Mahinwa village. They also used bricks and drums to halt traffic.
The body of the girl was found in Maner, hanging from a tree. After the discovery, City SP West Bhanu Pratap and the FSL team immediately initiated an investigation. The girl was a resident of Maner Azad Nagar. She had been missing since August 26th, and a missing person report had been filed at the Maner police station.
The family reported that the girl had gone to the Mahinawa garden in Ratan Tola village to collect firewood on August 26th but never returned. Intensive searches were carried out, but her whereabouts remained unknown. A missing person report was filed at the Maner police station, which led to a police investigation.
