A gruesome incident has been reported from the Jagargunda police station area of Sukma. In Mandimarka, Silger, Naxalites have murdered a Shikshadut. The victim, Lakshman Barse, was 30 years old and hailed from Pegdapalli village in the Bijapur district. He was working as a Shikshadut in Silger. According to available information, the Naxalites attacked Lakshman this evening with a sharp weapon, resulting in his instant death. Family members who attempted to help were also attacked. This act has created a state of terror throughout the region. Local police authorities have confirmed the incident and will soon provide further details officially. Currently, security forces are engaged in a search operation within the area. This incident underscores the rising acts of violence perpetrated by Naxalites, which have significantly heightened the fear among the local villagers.
