Police have arrested Vipin, his parents, and his brother. Vipin’s sister-in-law has come forward with counter-allegations. She claims she too was mistreated and a victim of dowry harassment. Rohit’s wife said that Nikki’s parents, along with Kanchan and her husband Rohit, used to beat her. Meenakshi alleged that Nikki had set herself on fire and insisted Vipin was innocent. Meenakshi shared that the dowry car was sold a week after her marriage, and a Scorpio was demanded, leading to repeated beatings. She was finally rescued by the police.
